DON'T GO RONNIE

Carlos Queiroz has come out and said that Cristiano Ronaldo may require
surgery if he plays through the pain barrier for his country in the next week.
Speaking to the M.E.N he complained.

"We have a duty to defend our players' interests and a moral responsibility to
millions of fans,"

"Clinically, we can't say he is unable to play but Ronaldo has been complaining
about some discomfort and he has a problem we know could develop into
something significant if we are not careful."

It's believed that Ronaldo has a groin strain while other voices say he already
has a hernia. Yesterday Portugal's team doctor Henrique Jones said:

"He has got the first signs of a groin strain but I'm sure he will be available to play in the two internationals,"

Surely it'll only be a matter of time before UEFA stick their beak in ordering him to play.
