Undoubtedly he will, the ground will be dominated by fans from City, Bolton,
Blackburn, Leeds etc. Things may well be different if Real Madrid draw us this
season.
"I am sure it will be a good reaction because I think they will all realise I am
playing for a new team now and that's the way it is. They are all looking to the
future with their team and I am doing the same sort of thing now with Real
Madrid.
"I have spoken to a few friends back home and they have said that the reaction of the United fans towards me since the transfer has been quite good. They will
miss me but, because I had so many great years at United, I think that is what
the fans will look at more than anything.
"Like I said, they are looking forward to the future, they have signed new players, they have won a few games and it is over with now."
