"I’ve spoken to Alex Ferguson about how to get on in this job. We had a couple of good chats and he passed on advice and has been very helpful. I was at Oldham, only a few miles from Manchester United, and he gave me pointers as to how to move up the ladder. He told me to keep believing in what I was doing. He was positive about my career and what he has achieved is what I’ve got to aspire to. It will be great to go to Manchester United next season but the matches I’m looking forward to are any ones we win."
