"There are many examples in years gone by of people saying things about Manchester United and then having to eat their words," said O'Shea.
"We just have to do that again.
"We know where we went wrong last year, we let ourselves down against the lesser teams.
"We have to fully concentrate in those games this season and make sure we win them. And when I look round the dressing room there is no reason why it cannot happen."
