RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland is believed to have turned down a move to their sister club RB Leipzig ahead of the January transfer window.
The Norway international travelled to Lower Saxony to visit the Bundesliga leaders just before Christmas, also visiting Borussia Dortmund after they showed an interest in making him their new striker when the transfer window reopens.
While moving to Leipzig would appear to be the logical move for Haaland, Bild reports that the 19-year-old has actually turned down the chance to stay in Red Bull's system by rejecting a move to Julian Nagelsmann's side.
The news comes within a day or two after a report in Italy stated Haaland had reached a verbal agreement with Juventus over a move to Turin.
Four clubs across Europe have already made it clear that they will pay Haaland's €30m release clause when the transfer window opens, with Juventus, Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund joined by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United.
Out of all the clubs on offer, Haaland's decision to reject RB Leipzig is believed to actually come down to concerns over the amount of playing time he would get.
