The Telegraph reports:
'Winning the FA Cup could land a spot in the Champions League if Uefa president Michel Platini gets his way.
'It was reported last night that Platini will unveil a set of proposals next week that will see the winners of the FA Cup get a place in the Champions League from 2009-10. At the moment the top four in the Premiership qualify for the Champions League but it is believed that number will be cut to three to make room for the Cup winners.'
