Marseille supremo Christophe Bouchet says he is still hopeful that he can sign Fabien Barthez before the January transfer window opens.
"We still hope that Barthez will come before the Mercato," said Bouchet. "We work every day to make this possible. We know that it won't be easy because Fifa refused us first time despite our strong case. We have decided to wait until the 20th of November.
