FAMILIES TO FLY OUT

The players, who have been away from their families for six
weeks, were given the option before the tournament started of
bringing them to Japan if they reached the quarter finals.

However, one notable absentee at the Shizouka Stadium
Ecopa, where the match takes place, will be England captain
David Beckham's wife Victoria, who is seven months pregnant
and is not allowed to fly.

Beckham said yesterday: "It's important we see them,
although Victoria won't be coming out, as she is seven
months' pregnant. It will be difficult, but I will speak to them
on the phone and it will be good for the other players."
