A man has reportedly suffered life threatening injuries after being stabbed
following street violence between Millwall and Ferencvaros supporters in
Budapest. The incident occurred before The Lions faced the Hungarian
champions in the second leg of their Uefa Cup first leg tie.

According to local police, there were scuffles between both sets of supporters
before kick off in the city centre of Budapest, with an English-speaking man
having been stabbed in the back during the violence.

"Eight people were taken to hospital, out of these, seven had light injuries," said ambulance spokesman Pal Gyofi.

"However, there is one man who speaks English, who was stabbed in the back."

Millwall lost the tie 4-2 on aggregate. Trouble was also reported after the Boro
game and missiles were being thrown by rival fans while the Barcodes took on
Bnei Sachnin.
