I come from G'van:

"I thought we had quality, but it was a very hard game for us and frustrating at times.

"That was down to the way Leeds performed. I thought they were very good tactically and Peter Reid will be very pleased with his team.

"Leeds may look at it and say they deserve more, but we had our share of the game and created some good chances towards the end. I don't think we were undeserved winners."

"Roy Keane was all over the place. We tried to operate in such a way that Roy could get forward more with Phil Neville sitting deep and it’s paid off for us. We made a lot of chances.

"Their goalkeeper made a fantastic save from Paul Scholes, we hit the crossbar and had two or three others that just went by the post. So I’m very satisfied with the result. At the start of the season I knew this would be a difficult game for us. It’s a difficult place for any team to come to. Their supporters are always encouraging the team and they create an incredible atmosphere and Peter Reid will be very pleased with his team today.

"Darren Fletcher and Ronaldo are young but playing in games like today’s is good experience for them.

"We know they’ve got to learn but they’ve both got fabulous qualities and through these experiences we can look at them in terms of European games and whether it’s right to possibly play them on Wednesday.

"Ryan Giggs was taken ill in the night. Hopefully he’ll be ready for Wednesday because Ryan’s European experience will help us."

I come from a hellhole:

'With easy games coming up there's a lot of optimism around" (they have the Dirties, Arsenal and us next- great innit!)

"We lost the ball and they scored the only goal. But that is where you have to congratulate Manchester United. That is why they are champions and that was a terrific finish from Roy Keane.

"It just shows you. Van Nistelrooy is a tremendous goalscorer but he is tracking back with five minutes to go. That shows you the quality we were playing against.

"I was delighted with David Batty. That is back-to-back games for him, against Blackburn and now United and that is a massive plus for us.

"He has had a frustrating 18 months but that was against the best today. He was breaking up the play, hunting down the ball and he ran the midfield.

"There was a great atmosphere. It is just great to be talking about football again after the last few weeks we have all had."

We live a dark age:

"Same old Man U - always cheating."
