Keane missed the 1999 Champions League final due to suspension, and a yellow card tomorrow night would see him sit out again should United win through.

"We're delighted to have him playing for us - it's a well known fact that he's probably the most influential player we've ever had at our club," said Fergie about Keane.

"With regards to the yellow card, you've got to play with an honesty and hope that the referee understands the importance of the game.

"You can't ask any player to restrict himself because of his yellow card situation. Tomorrow there will be twelve other players in the same situation as Roy."
