Sir Alex Ferguson is calling for UEFA to introduce a law that allows clubs to appeal against yellow cards.

The United boss was incensed with Darren Fletcher's booking for supposedly diving to try and earn a penalty during the second hlaf of United's 3-3 home draw against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.

"I can't believe it, I just can't believe that one," Fergie said.

"It's one of the worst I've seen in my lifetime. Unbelievable.

"You can't appeal a yellow card. I can understand that in domestic football, it could get lost in the system.

"But in European football it is crucial because, later in the tournament, to miss a really important game because of that is unfair.

"They should look at that but they won't."
