FERGIE CALLS ON THE FANS

Ferguson said: "The important thing is it has to be an Old
Trafford European night, which means not giving them any
time and make sure we give them a lot of threats. Our record
in games like this is terrific."

Fergie also hopes for a better ref this time, "In their own
ground, they get away with a lot of it. That's their
culture. There's nothing you can do about that.

"The stretcher was on the touchline as soon as anyone was
tackled. They're ready to run on as though the player is
dead, but hopefully we'll get a good strong referee who
won't allow that sort of thing to happen.

"My players have to be aware of that as well, but it's
handling it because you can get frustrated. When you've got
a bit of momentum going and you're at them all the time and
they go down, it stops the game.

"That's what I was unhappy about. Hopefully we'll be allowed
to tackle. We couldn't get near them over there."
