The United boss thinks that it undermines the value of the competition by playing the semi-finals in London rather than at a traditional neutral league club Stadium.

United are due to meet Everton in thesemi-final at Wembley o Sunday, 19th April.

"I agree with David that playing the semi-finals at Wembley devalues the cup," Fergie told the United Review.

"This is a decision by the FA that pushes up costs for the fans.

"It is likely the price of tickets at Wembley will be a lot higher than if the game was at Villa Park.

"Wembley should be reserved for finals, and the least the FA can do now is reduce the Wembley prices to a level more in keeping with those of club tickets."
