Peter Brookes, MUTV's managing director, reckons the station has pulled off a major coup. He said:
"Sir Alex rarely does in-depth broadcast interviews. This is a great opportunity for United fans worldwide to put a question to Sir Alex before the start of the season when United hope to get back to the very top again."
Fans will hopefully be able to get to the bottom of Ferguson's spat with Dwight Yorke, quiz the boss on the decision to re-sign veteran Laurent Blanc and to find out how he will accommodate Nicky Butt in the wake of the midfield destroyer's World Cup performances,' reports the official site.
We can't quite see Ferguson going into such detail but you can't blame them for trying to drum up new subscribers with a breathless sales pitch.
