"He didn't meet the criteria because he hasn't played in the
Brazil team for two years. But he has played for over a year
and he has got a World Cup winners' medal, so if he doesn't
get it, I would like to ask questions about 3,000 other
players in this country because they don't meet his criteria
of ability!

"He won the World cup for Brazil. I'm absolutely certain of
that. They tried to play Juninho, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo
together and they were getting a going over against Belgium,
and they took Juninho off and brought Gilberto Silva in and
that set a role for Kleberson.

"He is a good player and can play in other positions so we
will see. There is no question about the boy's ability but
it would be absolutely wrong to label him as a defensive
midfield player."
