Ferguson is preparing his side for a Champions League clash with Bursaspor on Wednesday, but the press were more interested in the Rooney saga.
Reports have it that the striker has refused to sign a new deal with the club, there is also supposed to be some sort of rift between player and manager.
United have released a statement denying they were looking to sell Rooney in January, but there has been no comment from the manager on talk of a rift.
