FLETCH WANTS A GAME

Fletcher told the official site:

”I've never played at Ibrox before so it'll mean a lot to
run out at there for the first time. More so because of what
the game means. Hopefully I'll play some part. But I don't
know if I'll be picked or not, that's up to the manager.

”A lot of my family support Rangers and a lot of my family
support Celtic so there's always quite a bit of banter. I've
mates who support both teams too. The games against Rangers
are all that anyone seems to be talking about and some of my
family will be there. I think the biggest incentive I've got
for winning is that I wouldn't dare go back to Scotland if
we get beat.

”I've been fortunate to play at Celtic Park and Hampden but
never at Ibrox, so that would be the three big Scottish
grounds done. It'll be another thing that I can tick off the
list of things I'd like to achieve.

“I think I've learnt a lot over the past month from all
different people - the players here and with Scotland, from
the Gaffer, Berti Vogts, Tommy Burns and the coaching staff
- and as a young player it's good to have that kind of help.

”I'm trying to take everything in my stride and not think
about it too much. But it has been an enjoyable month,
although it's only the start of the hard work ahead of me.”
