Forlan:

"It was quite a surprise for me to see Mr Ferguson when I went down for breakfast.

"Manchester United played at Tottenham the day before and he had stayed in London to attend a function for Alan Shearer.

"I had no idea he was staying in the same hotel but we had a good chat and he wished me the best of luck and hoped I'd have a good game against Arsenal.

"We spoke a little bit about different topics. He wished me luck and to have a good game tomorrow night.

"I don't think he wants me back, he's got very good players in his team, he doesn't need me," added Forlan with a grin.

"I haven't played so many games against Arsenal, I never play at Highbury, but I played in the Charity Shield twice and at Old Trafford a couple of times.

"This is a different team. We played well against other English teams at different stages and we know it will be really hard.

"You have to try to play the same way we have been playing. There are no special tricks, you just play according to your own game and take into consideration that they are very strong.

"We know we are not the favourites. Every team are favourites against us - but on the pitch is where you speak."
