FORWARD WITH FRANNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From The Sunday Mirror:

Francis Lee is set for a shock return to the Manchester City boardroom - but the chances of the one-time would-be Maine Road saviour coming back as chairman hinge on the wishes of his family.

Lee is primed to return to the corridors of power at the club he once graced as a player in the aftermath of the upheaval caused by David Bernstein's decision to step down as chairman of the club last week.

Striker-turned-tycoon Lee, who made millions recycling wastepaper, was hounded out of the club by fans five years ago after failing to deliver his promise to bring the glory days back to Maine Road.

But he still maintains a significant stake in the club, and was influential in the decision to install Kevin Keegan as manager almost two years ago
