Carlos answering questions on whether he and Beckham are mates.
Carlos said:
"I don't know where the story we are friends came from - my father is my friend. The game is a chance for me to mark a great player, I may have got the better of him in our previous meetings, but that's the past and I think about the future."
He added:
"Beckham is a great player, I respect and admire him; he is one of the best free-kick takers in the world and I am very happy things are working out for him as England captain, but he is not my friend.''
