A top Premiership player has obtained a legal order BANNING publication of kiss and tell details about his private life.

The News of the World reports:

The household name, who is in a long-term relationship, went to the courts on Friday fearing an ex-girlfriend was about to reveal details of their relationship.

The star, who cannot be named, obtained an injunction forcing the woman to keep silent.

She must also hand over 'personal' letters and 'intimate' photographs relating to the footballer, who has played at international level.

Under the ruling the girl is not allowed to even tell friends and family details of her relationship with the man.

Are we to expect another Gary Flitcroft style turn around to come?
