GARY NEVILLE – TUESDAY WASN'T SO BAD

"I don't think our performance was bad. I just think we needed that break in front of goal. Hopefully that is something that comes sooner rather than later. I think if we could have got a goal then it suddenly becomes a good away performance. We just couldn't get the goal."

"I thought there were a few positives; Liam Miller did very well in midfield; getting Paul Scholes back in the team; and Ruud van Nistelrooy did well up front. You have to give Sparta Prague credit for the way they played. But, we've got a game against them in a couple of weeks and I think they will find it difficult.

"They had some good chances themselves and we were thankful in the first half for Roy Carroll's good saves. I think a point is a fair result with the chances that they had and the football we played at times. Towards the end I thought we'd started to get on top in the game."

"We're not in a bad situation. You always look to win your home games and then draw your away matches. That is what we have done.”
