GARY NEVILLE SEES TITLE SLIPPING FROM OUR REACH

"Chelsea can make a mistake but it is looking less likely as each game goes by. We still harbour hopes that they could really collapse. But we need more than a blip now, it would be a monumental disaster for them not to win it.

“All we can try and do is make sure we maintain our own form so if they do falter we can capitalise on them. They (Chelsea) do have a lot of games coming up and with the Champions League matches as well, you never know what could happen. If we can't get near them we should at least look to secure second spot if we can. We are defending an unbeaten run that goes back to October and we want to maintain it."

Van Nistelrooy is also hoping to go unbeaten for the rest of the season:

"We have not lost a league game this year, so keeping that record is a goal for us," said the 28-year-old.

"We just want to try to build on our performances and win as many games as we can until the end of the season."
