GARY OWEN - HE'S NOT BITTER

From the MEN:

‘It seems obvious Fowler's days at Elland Road are numbered even though he reckons he wants to stay. Leeds have financial problems and Terry Venables must sell. But where does Robbie go now?

Wherever it is, the next time he faces City he can certainly expect a contrasting reception to the one he was given when he played at Maine Road last weekend.’

With the adrenaline now coursing through his veins Gary gets all carried away with himself:

‘As for City, those yo-yo days are over. They look comfortable in the top section and seem virtually certain to consolidate their position this season. I feel they can do even better than that with the Blues taking a top six place. We know now that Kevin Keegan's aim is to bring in quality players and have more ammunition to take City a step further in the Premiership.

Survival was one thing, going for glory is another. I feel Robbie Fowler will be the loser not Manchester City.’

What would we do without ‘em?
