Ryan Giggs:
"I want to be able to look back and say I played against the
best players for my country in a major tournament finals. I
will not be this close to it again and I am confident we
will not throw it away after the brilliant start we made to
this group.
"We beat Italy once and we can beat them again. They will
remember and be afraid of what they faced at the Millennium
Stadium and hopefully we can put on another performance like
that. It is a hard task to get a result in Italy, but we
know we have beaten them before so we can do it again.
"We know Italy will be tough and that if they play well on
the night it is going to be hard for us to get anything. But
the mood in our camp is determined. We have not come this
far to throw it all away. I have always maintained that it
would be one of the biggest achievements of my career -
perhaps the biggest - if I reached a major tournament finals
with Wales.
"We are so close now it would be a real low in my career if
we did not actually do it this time."
