Giggs was rested for the weekend's visit of Aston Villa, but will play tonight in a `must-win` game at Old Trafford.
Philip Neville is also expected to return, after suffering from flu, whilst David Beckham and Nicky Butt are also expected to shake off minor knocks
This leaves Paul Scholes is the only major doubt, with a chest infection ruling him as doubtful.
"Two or three players picked up knocks on Saturday. Phil Neville missed the game with flu but he has trained, we'll wait and see how he is tomorrow but he seems fine," explained United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
"Paul Scholes has got a chest infection, we'll see how he is.
"The two injured players, Butt and Beckham, should be OK. Giggs is fine, we just left him out."
Ferguson is confident of achieving success in Europe this season, and pointed to the sparkling form of Ruud Van Nistelrooy as being a key catalyst in the seasons transformation.
"I think we are capable of doing well in Europe this year," he said.
"We have midfield strength that I think could be very important to us and with van Nistelrooy in form it gives you great hope.
"Ruud is developing his game and he's playing with supreme confidence at the moment. He is prepared to try things and he's also developing his game as he goes along throughout the season.
"I think in the last few weeks that there has been an improvement in his general play.
"We thought and worried towards the end of December that he was tiring and he was looking a little sluggish but he's shrugged it all off and we're quite surprised and happy about that."
The visitors will be missing a trio of vital defenders.
Nicolas Gillet, Nicolas Laspalles and Mario Yepes will all be foreced to sit out tonights clash.
Despite this Fergis is not underestimating the French sides ability.
"They are not such a bad team. People were looking at the game last week and they looked at their league position and thought we were going to roll them over," he said.
"It's hard to explain to people these situations. We prepared for Nantes perfectly.
"We know they don't lose goals but they don't score many either. They are a difficult team to beat."
