GIGGS BETTER THAN EVER

Giggs has recovered from the heavy leg bruising he received courtesy of Dennis Wise in the FA Cup final win in Cardiff and joined up with his Wales colleagues last night and he is expected to play in tomorrow's friendly international against Canada at Wrexham.

"Ryan has been a major factor in the success Manchester United have had in Sir Alex's period in control. For what he gives the team, there is nobody quite like him and there has not been for the last 20-odd years. I was delighted for him to have four FA Cup winner's medals now. Talk of his future has been flying around for the past 18 months for whatever reason, I think at times people just struggle for things to talk about and for a while Ryan's future was something people latched onto. But he has come through that, and he is still winning medals and winning games for United, that's all you really need to look at."
