GIGGS HAPPY WITH HIS FORM

"I am enjoying it at the moment and I just have to continue that," Giggs said. "The important thing is that we are going into a busy schedule in good form. We have to carry on that good form over Christmas and make up ground on Chelsea, Everton and Arsenal."

"It was a good reply after Monday. We were disappointed after the Fulham game, but the performance and the result here was pleasing, and it was even more pleasing to score five goals. But someone was going to get a good hiding. We could have scored more but we'd have settled for five before the game."

O'Shea offered words of support for a player showing some signs of his old self:

"Ryan Giggs is the worst player to face in training. He doesn't give you a minute's peace. When he got running at Palace, they just kept backing off. He showed why he is still up there with the best left- wingers in the world."

"People have known him for so long they feel they can question him, but he keeps coming back with the answers, and as long as he keeps doing that, he will be at Manchester United."
