"It's up to those players themselves, but the potential and the ability are there, and I am quite sure the hunger is also there, so I don't see why it can't be another great team.

"There is a great array of talent which in the next two or three years can get better, learn off other players and listen to the manager - if they do that they can become world stars.

"It's what the history of Manchester United is all about. Fans wouldn't have it if we didn't see young players coming through the system, whether they are local lads or from abroad.

"I have been really impressed with Giuseppe Rossi this year. He trained with us in Milan and fitted in brilliantly."
