"I am amazed at what he has said but that is his view.
"I think it is fine that the managers like Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger make comments.
"In football you expect the managers to have a go at each other, it’s all part of the game.
"But I do not think you have to do it at our level."
Kenyon criticised United’s tour of the Far East claiming four games in three countries inside eight days was treating the players like the Harlem Globetrotters.
