GLAZER TO SOLVE RIO CONTRACT

The Sun reports that Joel Glazer is heading to Tokyo to attempt to sort out Rio Ferdinand’s contract.

The paper reports that the club want the matter sorted out before the team return from their tour of the Far East.

Meanwhile Red Issue favourite Pini Zahavi says there is no need to panic.

"Rio will be playing for United in the coming season, there's no doubt about that," Zahavi said. "He has said he wants to stay and I know for sure that Manchester United don't want to sell him."
