The Reds have offered £12m plus Nani for the Argentinian winger, according to the Daily Mail, but Inter Milan and Chelsea are also watching the 21-year-old.
Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira said: "We need to know what the offer will be and then make a decision on which is the best value for the club."
