Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren has insisted he would pick Stewart Downing ahead of Ryan Giggs.
"At present I wouldn't change him with Ryan," said McClaren.
"Give me Downing and Giggs and I'd be very happy. Stewart's performances on the park are doing the talking.”
