United have announced the appointment of Keith Porter as new Head Groundsman at Old Trafford.

Keith Kent left for Twickenham last month, leaving a vacancy that a new Keith, Mr Porter, has filled. Keith was groundsman at Carrington until recently, and graduates from the training ground to the stadium.

This appointment has led to a restructure of the department with Tony Sinclair being appointed Deputy Head Groundsman at Old Trafford and Joe Pemberton as Deputy Head Groundsman at Carrington.
