“We played some good football for periods of the game, but in other periods we weren’t allowed to because West Brom challenged for every ball, they were determined and their attitude was good.

“This is the first time I have brought a team to The Hawthorns in 16-and-a-half years and I hope a club with this great tradition and history does stay in the Premier League. It might not be this season but I think the enthusiasm and support and the manager is a good platform to build for the future.”
