''On balance, my first season went very well. It wasn't easy to adapt to the way the game is played in England.
''Fortunately everything turned out well, apart from being injured late in the season.
''However, I'm not the kind of person to relax and I know I could lose my place if I don't keep up the good work.
''So I aim to play even better when the new season starts.''
