HAPPY TO BE HERE

John O'Shea can't see himself going the way of Phil Neville and and heading out of the door at Old Trafford.

"I'm aware of the speculation but I'm very happy here," O'Shea told the News of the World. "I'm getting plenty of football and know I can get a lot more. That's my aim.

"Old Trafford is the best place to learn your football but that isn't the reason I am staying.

"I want to get into the first XI - that's the most important thing - and I believe I have a future here."

"The way I am developing defensively, I think my best position will be centre half.

"You could say it is tough for me to learn a trade given that I can play in different positions, but that is down to the individual."
