HARVERSON'S VIEW ON THE MOVE

"In David Gill we have someone who worked side-by-side with Peter for the last six-and-a-half years so there'll be no change. Peter set the strategy, he helped
engineer that and he had a good relationship with the manager. But it's the same management team behind the chief executive and the board above the chief executive is the same so I don't think fans will notice the difference.

"And where it matters most is on the field and there's no impact there. The job
they do in challenging for the Premier League and winning other trophies will
continue as normal. We have to make sure there's as little disruption on the
business side and we don't believe there will by any. Our business strategy is set to the parameters of Man Utd with its enormous fan base and enormous global name and obviously Chelsea don't have that.

"They have a different situation so I don't think it's transferable from one club to another. I know there has been various speculation. They don't want to believe the obvious thing in that Peter had an offer he couldn't refuse and a challenge he wanted to take up. There was no fallout between Peter and the manager or between Peter and the board."
