"I just hope I don't get any more injuries. I want to stay fit and keep my place in the first-team. Injuries are just one of those things. But they have been happening too much to me and the team recently. I felt all right against West Ham. I have been training fully for the last two weeks, though I haven't got games under my belt. I still get a tiny bit of pain. It is more an occasional ache but it won't bother me."
Fergie said of Brown:
"Wes has had a tragedy of a career. The last three years have been a disaster for the kid.I just hope he can get the luck he needs, remain fit for two or three years and develop into the fantastic player he promises to be."
