"I want to score a big goal in a big game and that definitely wasn't one because we had already qualified for the next phase.
"It was difficult to get carried away so I just jogged back into my own half with a smile on my face.
"But I will always remember the night because it was the first time I have had the chance to captain the team in Europe.
"I always dreamt of playing for this club as a lad and to lead the side in Roy Keane's absence was a fantastic experience."
