Ananova report:

An argument between two teenage boys over a goal in a
village football match has set off a clash which left at
least 100 people injured.

The fighting between more than 500 people, many of them
armed with spears and meat cleavers, broke out over a
disputed goal in a Bangladeshi village Sunday league game.

The fighting, in Aganagar village in Mymensingh district,
started after the two boys belonging to separate prominent
families refused to back down.

The boys went home and complained to relatives.

Within hours the rival families and their supporters
gathered in the football field attacking each other in what
was considered honour fighting.
