HENNING BERG TIPS UNITED

Rangers defender Henning Berg:

“They have a couple of new players, like Ronaldo, Darren
Fletcher and Rio Ferdinand, who weren't there last time.
Those who did play last time are far more experienced now in
Champions League games.

“I think they will win it this year because of the players
they have - Scholes, Keane, van Nistelrooy, Giggs. They're
all fantastic players and have done this for many years. But
we would like to do as well as we can, so if we win tomorrow
night that's fantastic.

“It's hard to think if this as a normal game but that is
exactly what it is. It's a game of football that will be
decided by the players on the park and we have to try to
forget all the hype surrounding it. For me personally, it's
a great game to be involved in my last season as a
professional player.

"I would say Paul Scholes is probably one of the best
players in the world. I would compare him to Zidane. I
watched Real Madrid play Man United last season, and if
there was one player who could match him on the pitch it was
Paul Scholes.

"Even though United did not play well, he was different
class. His movement, his touch, the way he finds positions
and the way he takes the ball away from defenders - he
always has room to do the things he wants to do.

"He has great skills and is back now after being missing
earlier in the season - and you can see that in United's
game. When he is there most things seem to click."

Henning has also named his newborn child Rio. He said:

"It is bad timing, I know. We decided that months ago, so
it has nothing to do with this. But the baby did not turn up
when he should have done either. He was a week late!"
