HOME FORM THE KEY

Ryan Giggs has backed Wales manager John Toshack and still believes Wales could qualify for Euro 2008.

"John has always maintained it's a long-term plan," Giggs told Sky Sports News.

"Obviously we need to win games and get the right results right from the off to breed that confidence. We've not done that really so far in this campaign.

"Hopefully we can get back on track on Wednesday, then we've got the Czech Republic, so hopefully we can end the season with nine points and still in the mix."

He added: "We're under no illusions, it's going to be very hard now.

"We've got San Marino home and away, we've got Ireland at home, we've got the Czech Republic at home.

"We've got games that we can win and, if we get that momentum and get that winning mentality, then anything can happen."
