I THINK A LOT OF MYSELF

In an interview with the Times Thierry Henry shows how a true professional player of the modern game should behave in terms of contracts, respect and love of the game. He said

“I hope we can find an agreement because, like I’ve said so many times, as long as they want me here, I will stay,” Henry said. “I am really happy here, things are going well for me and I’ve just been named skipper. I didn’t come into football to win money. I came into football first of all to make my Dad proud because he was the most important influence on me. There is money in the game, but the game is more important.”

Could you imagine that coming from the mouth of Peckham’s finest? No I didn’t think so.
