INTERNATIONAL REDS

* Saha and Silvestre eye France return tonight.

* Gary Neville returns to Anfield with England. Brown, Ferdinand and Rooney all in the squad against Uruguay. Forlan is in the Uruguay squad too.

* O'Shea to start in midfield for Ireland against Sweden.

* Giggs takes on senior role for Wales against Paraguay: "This is now the chance for the youngsters to come in and impress.

"We have four games now before the Euro 2008 qualifiers start next season, so there are a few places up for grabs. The young lads are here and they will be pushing for places - that's what it's all about.

"I found it quiet easy when I came into the Wales side at 17," said Giggs. "I was playing at Manchester United, and making that step up to the international stage was less of a problem than for others because of the quality I had around me in my club football.

"It's up to the individual. You either take it in your stride or it becomes difficult. But if you want to become a top player, you should thrive on the international stage and playing against top players.

"A lot of these young Welsh lads have been around together with the Under-21s. I didn't have that. When five or six come into a team at the same time you are all mates together, and the transition can be a lot easier."

* Dwight Yorke got two goals for Trinidad & Tobago last night against Iceland.
