If you are expecting a big January signing then perhaps you'd better read on as chief executive David Gill has aid he doesn't expect SAF to dip into the transfer market.

Speaking ahead of the AGM he said:

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

"I don't think we will be going into the transfer market in a big way in January.

"We developed the squad in the summer so we'd be challenging for all the honours and we are challenging, so why would we want to make big changes in January?"

"I think whatever we do in January will be consistent with previous seasons.

"The manager doesn't normally do major transfer work in mid-season even before we had the window."
