From the M.E.N:

In honour of the popular 22-year-old, his friend Tim Wilkes has teamed up with Swindon FC where Jimmy spent a spell on loan to organise the memorial day on July 17 with one of the main attractions a match between Swindon and Redditch United.

"Jimmy spent three months on loan at Swindon and he was loved there," Wilkes told the thisisredditch website.

"I remember the fans all gave him a standing ovation in his last game.

"I've had massive support from Jimmy's mum and sister because I've got their interests at heart."

The money raised from the day will go to the Jimmy Davis Memorial Fund which aims to help with football youth development.

"I know Jimmy wanted to start coaching football to youngsters so it would be fitting if we can contribute something to young footballers around the town," Wilkes added.

We will let you know when we know.
