United take on Rushden & Diamonds tonight as they prepare to defend their FA Youth Cup crown.

Brian McClair is taking a strong side to Nene Park and is expected to include six of the players who featured in last season’s successful campaign.

Rushden’s youth team coach Neville Hamilton will be aiming to guide his team to a giant killing act in front of what should be a capacity home crowd, while United will be hoping to take another step towards their ninth Youth Cup Trophy.
