JONES GETS NEW CONTRACT

Ritchie Jones has, this morning, signed a new contract keeping him at the club for another two years. After a series of fine displays for the stiffs the youngster seemed quite happy with the outcome.

"You can't ask for any more than winning a Treble. All season the lads have worked really hard for this. It's hard to win it back to back, but we've done really well and hopefully we can win it again next season. Winning when you're young is the best thing you can do, and hopefully we'll take it into our senior careers.

"My new contract gives me the chance to stay at Old Trafford and work with some fantastic coaches and players - you can't get any better than learning from Sir Alex Ferguson and the rest of the staff here.

"Hopefully I will get a few more run-outs in the first team next season and build on things from there."
